The historic announcement took place on September 10, 2026 (EST), at the Tillman Chapel inside the Church Center for the United Nations, a global symbol of peace in New York.

"SMILE=PEACE" - A Universal Message from the Disaster-Stricken City of Ishinomaki to the World

The film is a feature-length documentary following Miyuki (Miyuki Shigeta), the pioneer of Impression Training® who guides leaders worldwide and holds massive global influence as a mega influencer.

The origin of this story lies in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, which suffered catastrophic damage during the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. In a place that experienced profound sorrow and loss, what the people needed most to look forward again was a "smile." And that smile began to show that it is the hope and healing for people all over the world, crossing borders.

Centering on the smile-led recovery of Ishinomaki and smile education for the youth, the film symbolically portrays Miyuki wearing samurai armor as the modern "Smiling Samurai," alongside a martial god who pacified conflicts without fighting. With breathtaking visuals showing the disaster-stricken area transforming from the monochrome of despair to the vibrant colors of hope, the film projects a universal message: "To win without fighting" (SMILE=PEACE). This is also a message of peace sent from Ishinomaki, Japan, offering hope to those suffering from natural disasters and conflicts across the globe.

Composing the film's theme song, "PEACE," is Maestro Ricky Kej, a 3-time GRAMMY Award winner, globally recognized environmentalist, and UN Goodwill Ambassador. His majestic and profoundly healing melodies will expand the cinematic universe of the film.

Writing the lyrics for the song and serving as the film's Executive Producer (International Strategy) is Sumathy Ramakrishnan (Sumathy Ram), a prominent Hollywood Director / Producer who currently serves as the Global Strategist for India's official entry for the International Feature Film category at this year's Academy Awards (GONDHAL). The stage for this announcement was the "Annual Interfaith Prayer Service for the Opening of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly."
